Vista Azul is a new community of 2 & 3 bedroomed quarter villas which have many year round residents as well as holidaymakers, for this reason it is impecably maintained and reasonably quiet, it is suitable for families and couples but not "lads" or "girls" holidays as there is no "nightlife" as in "clubs" etc nearby, there are however many good restaurants and bars closeby, some of the better ones are La Encarnacion, Ramon, El Patio IV, these are all traditionally Spanish/International and there are many others specialising in cuisine from all over the world, there is a large community pool and this is surrounded by well maintained sunbathing area.

This is a tastefully designed and decorated townhouse in its 3rd year of letting, everything is new and wonderfully decorated by the owner,the care and consideration is evident throughout and you will not be disappointed by the luxurious surroundings, the house is laid out over 3 floors, from both bedrooms you may access the large balcony. The roof solarium is private and walled and here you have sun most of the day and you can see the mountain, Cazebo Gordo, off in the distance. There are 4 sunbeds supplied so you can top up the tans and there is an outside dining suite on the ground floor patio to enable you to sample that alfresco dining that this wonderful climate enables. This ear the owners have added a conservatory to the solarium so you can enjoy the sun even on windy days, this area can also be adapted as a 3rd bedroom.

The house is fully air conditioned and this facility is available in the lounge and in both bedrooms, it is operated by a coin mechanism and 1 Euro will get you 1hour of air conditioning (hot and cold), we hope that you will find this method of payment easy and good value. The bedrooms are further cooled by ceiling fans in summer. The coin mechanism enables all 3 machines both hot and cold throughout the year.

» Murcia (Costa Calida) Region

Within a short drive you have the beautiful historic city of Cartagena which has many Roman ruins, it also has a recently restored port area, also here can be found El Cortes Ingles which is an exclusive department store,
within 2 hours drive is the Holy City of Caravaca de la Cruz which is definately worth a visit also within this sort of distance is the shrine of the Virgen in Calasparra which is a fantastic place built into the natural stone,
the tourist office is literally across the road and here they will provide you with an amount of local information.
There are 2 waterparks and a safari park within driving distance in Rojales, Torrevieja and Elche.
This is a fantastic location for a family holiday, for a quiet break or for those house hunting.

Bicycle hire can now be arranged with the manager, at very competitive daily or weekly rates, please, order in advance, where possible

» Los Alcazares / Euro Roda Area

this is a working Spanish town with all the facilities you would need, like banks, shops, restaurants etc
it´s main attraction is the beach which extends for 5kms and has a palm lined promenade all along it´s length, the water is clear and blue flag status has been achieved
the sea is very safe from a childs point of view as it is non tidal and fairly shallow and gently deepens as you leave the shore.
It is well connected to the rest of Spain by way of motorway and major roads and to the outside world by 2 nearby international airports, San Javier and Alicante.
you have a supermarket (Consum) within a 5 minute walk, within 10 you will find the Oasis centre which has many bars and restaurants. The Balnearo Plaza, which contains Mrecadona(supermarket) and many top class eateries as well as many banks and shops is about a 15 minute walk. Euro Roda commercial centre is literally at the end of the street, where the units are now being tenanted, these include Barclay´s Bank, a supurb Tapas Takeaway, a Wok Buffet (all you can eat for only €8.95), a newly opened Oriental Barbeque and a large discount store.
The beach is about a 20 mins walk and you do not need a car if this type of holiday appeals to you.
However, if you do want to hire a car I can do this for you at the most competitive rates in the area.

» How to Get There

arriving to Alicante airport, take the motorway south signed for Cartagena, after approx 50 mins drive you are exiting the motorway by exit 786 for Los Alcazares, you will see a large modern art archway, park up and ring 0034 638704744.

arriving to Murcia/San Javier airport head for Los Alcazares from the roundabout outside the airport, after about 5 mins you will be in Los Alcazares by a commercial centre, Las Velas, park up and ring 0034 638704744

when you are at one of the two mentioned meeting points ring 0034 638704744 and i will come and meet you with the keys

if you wish we can pick you up from both airports and return you for your departure

The owners have installed Satellite TV for your entertainment this summer so if you wish to keep up with all the news from home as well as the soaps and sport you can now do this at Vista Azul.

Further Details Of Exterior Facilities:

From your private roof solarium you can see the Roda golf course in the distance with a backdrop of the local mountain, "Cazebo Gordo".
Please note that the property is not located beside the swimming pool and you will not hear the noise from same.
This year the owners have extended the property by way of a conservatory area on the solarium, this area can now bring the outdoors indoors, which will enable you to make better use of the outside space, this can be used as an al fresco dining area, a sun room or a 3rd bedroom.

» Further Information / Conditions

A 25% booking deposit secures the dates that you require, the balence is payable in cash on arrival. We only accept euro and we will agree the exchange rate at the time of booking. We also request a refundable security deposit of 100 GBP on arrival, this is refunded on departure if all is in order.With regard to minor breakages in the house ie. cups, plates, glasses it would be appreciated by the owner if you could replace these rather than have a charge made on the security deposit, thanks for your cooperation

Villa was excellent and had everything you need for a family, location was nice and quiet, but within easy reach of restautants and beach, the kids loved the pool which was a very short distance just round the corner, there isnt any seating, loungers or grass area round the pool which lacked that bit of comfort for adults, Sean was brilliant arranged car hire at short notice and taxied us to and from the airport. There was only one minor niggle the fridge doors opens into the room and not towards to wall making it awkward if the kitchen door is open. Will book again defo"

"Went to this Villa July 2008 so just back. The Villa was spacious and very modern and had plenty of outdoor space (large patio area outside front door, balcony and roof terrace). The villa is in quite a quiet location but within a 5 minute walk one way to bars a Chinese, Indian and pizza place that was very good and very cheap, There is also a new all you can eat Chinese buffet place right at the end of your street. If you walk in the other direction you have a 10 - 15 walk to lots of other restaurants with plenty of choice, the beach is also a 10 - 15 minute walk away. We did hire a car in the last week for 3 days but you dont need to if you are happy with what is in walking distance. The pool was quite small but our kids 5 and two 15 year olds loved it. They have a sign saying no lilos but another Scottish family who we met there mother owns one of the villas and they were using them so after a day or so we did too and nobody seemed to mind. The only thing I will say bad about the apartments is air conditioning, there is none. There is ceiling fans but we found that we had to keep windows open to let air circulate as it can get very warm there. Apart from that the house was lovely and a joy to have lots of room and space to get out of each others way if we needed it. Sean was lovely and very helpful one night when we locked ourselves out. would recommend"
